Ara Priests and Priestesses are guides who, thanks to their example, share their experience and wisdom with those who wish to commit to learning and to nurturing an harmonious relationship with the Divine.

The Temple of Ara acknowledges the role of priestess or priest only to those who have followed successfully the expected formative path and who have demonstrated, with their actions, their commitment and dedication, the will and capacity to take responsibility to guide other people in their spiritual path and to nourish e cultivate the local communities.

Ara Priestesses and Priests can:

Guide local communities

Create and lead rites of passage

Teach the practices that allow to everyone of us to experience our personal connection with the Divine

Assist in the healing process of the mind, the body and the spirit

Address the various needs of the community, including the participation to environmental or interfaith causes, or the collaboration with other organization engaged in these fields.

The path of Priestly Training is reserved for Dedicated Initiates , and has a duration of three years.

In the Tradition of Ara, priesthood represents placing themselves at service of the community and of the Divine. This service, however, can take several formsaccording the different talents, predispositions and desires, because the purpose of the path of priestly formation isn’t to level everyone onto one model, but rather is to help each one’s gift to flourish, weaving Ara path together with our souls.

This is what we call “vocational Priesthood”.
